Heigo Sato

Professor at the Faculty of International Studies,Takushoku University and Associate Senior Researcher at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, University of Tokyo.

He completed his doctorate in law at the Graduate School of Law, Hitotsubashi University. After serving as a senior research officer at the National Institute for Defense Studies, he joined the Institute of World Studies at Takushoku University as a professor.

He later became a professor at the Faculty of International Studies at the
same university, eventually becoming the director of the Institute of World
Studies.

His areas of expertise include security, arms control, and American
diplomacy.
