Japanese Defense Minister Hamada Yasukazu held talks with Swedish Defense Minister Pal Jonson at the Defense Ministry in Tokyo on June 7th, 2023. Minister Hamada expressed Japan's support for Sweden's application to NATO. Minister Jonson said “Sweden and Japan are meeting many of the similar security challenges.
