Japan has successfully evacuated its citizens from the Republic of the Sudan. On April 25, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced that all the evacuees who were willing to leave Sudan had been safely evacuated from the capital city of Khartoum. The Prime Minister also announced that eight more Japanese citizens, including embassy officials and their families, had been evacuated with the assistance of the French government.
